Аннотация: Mixed-flow dryers are broadly used in worldwide agriculture for the drying of grain, corn and soya bean. This drying process is well established, while it still needs to be optimized. Air flow is an important factor in the performance of mixed-flow dryer’s drying rate, while air flow distribution and air velocity are mainly depended on the size of air duct. To investigate the influence of the size of air duct on air flow in mixed-flow dryer. The study is based on ANSYS/FLOTRAN to build two-dimension air ducts models to simulate the air flow distribution and air velocity in drying element. Setting size of air ducts are variable, while other conditions are quantitative. Comparing and analyzing the air flow distribution and air velocity in different sizes of air ducts to select the best project, which can produce the most homogeneous wind speed and the largest speed of wind.
