Аннотация: Determination of selected white cells populations: total WBC, lymphocytes, granulocytes (neutrophils, eosinophils, basophils) and monocytes in the peripheral blood was carried out in group of 83 males, aged 21 to 60 years old with occupational exposure to Hg0 in chlorine production by the electrolytic method from 0.6 to 37 years. For the determination of (CD3+)T-, (CD4+)T-helper, (CD8+)T-suppressor, (CD16+)NK-cell populations monoclonal antibodies (Behring, Germany) were used in indirect immunofluorescence tests. Stimulation of the WBC line as count of leucocytes and T-cell line was noted as evidenced by increased numbers of (CD3+)T-cells, (CD4+)T-helper and (CD8+)T-suppressor cells in the workers <10 or >10 years exposure to Hg0. Quantitative changes of T-cell populations as well as changes of the (CD3+)T/(CD8+)T-suppressor and (CD4+)T-helper/(CD8+)T-suppressor ratio have been proposed as an immunological indicators of exposure to Hg0, which can be used for to monitoring degree of exposure and to explain the immunity disturbances with/or autoimmunity disorders induced by mercury.

Аннотация: More than 50% of the World Leather Production is from Asian Countries which is estimated at 8 to 10 million tons of hides and skins. Wastewater discharged from world tannery sector is about 600million m3/annum. The tanneries in Asia discharge more than 350 million m3 of wastewater per annum. The ground and surface water resources in many locations in and around tannery cluster contain high Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and not fit for domestic and industrial use. The conventional physiochemical and biological treatment systems are designed and implemented only to reduce Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Suspended Solids (SS), heavy metals etc. and not TDS and salinity which are mainly contributed by chlorides, hardness and sulphates. Due to inherent quality of wastewater from tanning industry, the treatment plants are unable to meet the prescribed standards in terms of TDS, chlorides in salinity in the treated effluent.

Аннотация: Determinations of transferrin, ferritin, iron and total iron-binding capacity (TIBC) in serum of workers chronically exposed to mercury vapours and controls were performed. The serum concentrations of transferrin and ferritin was determined by nephelometry, iron and TIBC was determined by colorymetry in men with a history of chronic exposure to metallic mercury from 0.6 to 37 years involving chlorine production by the method of mercury electrolysis. In conclusion, long-term occupational exposure to mercury vapours elevate iron serum concentration and TIBC in serum of exposed subjects.

Аннотация: This experimental investigation has been carried out to obtain highly reactive metakaoline (MK) from KhongorOvoo and TsogtOvoo kaolins of Mongolia and confirm their effects as Pozzolan admixture for the mechanical properties and the hydration process of the Portland cement paste. It was done within research project for advanced level at NUM (National University of Mongolia). Pozzolan admixture is the most effective way to concrete paste mix design to reduce the use of primary materials and CO emission, and obtain high strength and high performance concrete at the recent days of preferring green and low carbon technology for resource consumption of innovation driven-development. Despite such a fly ash, silica fume, ground granulated blast furnace slag, calcined clay etc. is used as well-known cementitious materials in high developed countries for production of higher compressive cement, each deposit’s kaolin has specific properties depending on its mineral and chemical composition to influence the cement paste. The natural and thermally treated kaolins for various temperature and duration time in lab muffle furnace were tested by chemical, mineralogy, petrographic, FT-IR, DTA, X-ray fluorescence and X-ray diffraction analyses for checking the phase composition. The effects of these MK as Pozzolan admixture by 5, 10, 15, 20 and 30% for the properties of the cement paste were tested by FTIR, XRDA, DTA, the fineness with 95.6% by passing of #200 sieve, setting time and compressive strength for 1, 3, 7, 28 days compared to local produced OPC 42.5 as reference from Khutul Cement LLC of Selenge province in Mongolia. The hardened cement pastes were tested by DTA for Ca(OH)2 content, FT-IR, XRD and optical microscopic analyses for crystalline hydration products. Compressive strength of the blended cement pastes as containing 20% of Pozzolan admixture as the MK and Portland Cement were higher by 280kg/cm3 in averagethan that OPC tested at all durability ages up to 28 days. The setting time of blended cements with the Pozzolan admixture of MK exhibited the decrease of mortar workability depending on its composition and its increase of chemical reactivity due to their effect on speed up the hydration and hardening process of it.

Аннотация: The project attempts to build a Geographic Information System for tanneries present in different locales in India. It comprises of an web interface which shows a Google map with markers on it in different areas, each corresponding to the individual tannery's location. The data that is stored in digital format is stored forever and can be accessed when and where required. Here in our case it is the details of the tanneries, skin and hide dealers.

Аннотация: We have created dynamic model of Mongolian cashmere sector on the VENSIM program and it has main 10 sectors from raw cashmere to final production. In adittion to that, all results are understandably shown in last two sectors. Including: There are some sectors such as goat, raw material preparation, washing, combing, spinning, weaving, knitting, producing and selling, sales influence of domestic market, sales influence of foreign market, total income and taxation as well as its result. Validity of model is from 2012 to 2030. It means that it is general situation in 2019-2030 judging from research of the last seven years numerical data. It is designed to see how main indicators are changed in imposed taxation and also make simulation in case of considering export taxation of washed and combed cashmere as main parameter. It is possible to use this model completely to foresee long and medium term general form of Mongolian cashmere sector, make simulation on this model and process developmental policy for cashmere sector.
